Wildflowers in Bloom
Did you know that September is the best month to see the wildflowers in WA?
Stunning displays of wildflowers blanket over WA’s Coral Coast, filled with unique species of wildflowers that you won’t find anywhere else in the world.
Book a stay in Lancelin and make a day trip just an hour north of town to Lesueur National Park – one of the best spots to see the wildflowers. Not only is it a scenic drive along WA’s beautiful north coast, but the profusion of colour that the wildflower season brings truly is a spectacular sight.
Simply follow the 18.5km Lesueur Scenic Drive to the top of Mount Lesueur and witness panoramic views of the beauty. For lovers of walking, there’s plenty of good trails around too – from short 3km ones to lengthier hiking ones.
Why not stop by the Pinnacles and then enjoy a delicious lunch at Lobster Shack while you’re there too? The ultimate day out.

Queen’s Birthday Long Weekend & Lancelin Busker’s Festival – September 20 – 23
Each year, Lancelin comes alive with music, markets, food trucks and festivities as Lancelin Busker’s Festival takes over the town. This year will be its 9th year running!
Since its debut in 2015, this festival has grown to become a highlight of the local calendar. The family-friendly event attracts buskers from all over Western Australia who perform at 10 busking venues across our beautiful town over the Saturday (September 21) and Sunday (September 22).
It’s always a fantastic weekend, filled with talented buskers and market stalls and food trucks at Wangaree Park. The festival wraps up with a finale of live music and awards evening at the Endeavour Tavern for the ultimate coastal Sunday session.
